League Update

Dear Members,

League Update

Due to the problems we have experienced with the weather over the last two weeks there has been a lot of postponements, can we ask Managers to be proactive and reverse the fixture if the away team have a pitch available. Can we also ask Mangers to be proactive in agreeing the day for their midweek fixtures.

Can we please ask all Clubs to keep a watchful eye on Mitoo as matches are being rescheduled daily.

The season ends on Sunday 20th of May and any matches that have not been played will be treated as void.

Divisional Cups

Can we remind you that in respect of the U9 and U10 divisional cup finals teams may only take 10 players to play. The only players eligible to play will be those named on your team sheets provided prior to the commencement of the competition to Amanda Smith . These team sheets will be taken to the finals for checking against player’s registration ID cards.

Can we remind you that all team photos etc needs to be with the MK Publications this weekend This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Volunteering and the MHRML

Further to the Chairman's Opening remarks at the recent general meeting the League is looking to expand it's member participation by recruiting more volunteers. If you would like to become involved then please contact tony doyle - by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

There are many ways to become involved

  • Fixtures administration
  • Referee administration
  • Helping out on presentation day
  • Cup Final days
  • Discipline administration and adjudication
  • Helping to run under 7 festivals

Some of these are formal league roles and some involve just giving a small amount of time to help out maybe once or twice a year.

One of our goals as a league is to broaden participation and make the League even more representative of it's members. - the wider the involvement the stronger the League.
